Moving on to the wings... There's a remarkable amount of detail here. These are not just two halves, top and bottom, glued together. Many panels on the wings are actually separate parts.
I added some detail paint to the grills on the vent here. I suppose these are a cooling system?
Anyway, then I promptly covered up the grills with cowling.
I also found I had on hand a Tamiya spray can that just happens to be the correct (close enough for me) RAF color for the underside. It was one of 3 colors I had tested for the hull grey on the
1:350 Enterprise. Handy!
