Dollhouse Baseboards

Some baseboards are installed in the doll house, in one corner of the living room. This spot will be very hard to reach later, so I added them now.

This dollhouse is what they call "half scale", by the way. Apparently one inch for one foot is pretty standard in the dollhouse world, but this one is 1/2 inch for one foot. The piece and details are smaller, but the finished product will be a more manageable size.

Goofy

Here's a Goofy character watch, with the original packaging. It even has the price, $16.95! Notice the late '60s Elgin logo on the label?

Floors!

The dollhouse floors are ready to go, at least for two rooms, and the living room fireplace is finished...

There's a kitchen and entryway on the first floor that will have different floors.

The oak flooring for the first floor looks pretty good so far.

One Side Done

The cat portal is now trimmed out and painted on one side. The other side should be... Stargate or TARDIS? I can't decide.

Dollhouse Update

The stairway assembly is complete except that I plan to add an electrical outlet (12v) before putting the whole thing in place.

Here's two fireplaces, the lower one is in the living room. There's still quite a bit of details to do.
